June 2016 Numberscopes

June 2016 NumberscopesTo calculate your personal year, add your day and month of birth to the current year, and reduce. Example: my birthday is April 13th, so I add 4 + (1+3) + (2+0+1+6) = 4 + 4 + 9 = 17.  1+7 = 8, so I am in a personal 8 year and would scroll down to the number 8 to read what’s in store for me this month!

1

If you are in a personal 1 year, then June is a personal 7 month for you. Now is the time for some rest and solitary retreat from the world, so fit in (yes I mean schedule) as much “me time” as you can. You’ll be glad you did. Try to get out in nature, if you can, and do lots of meditation. This is not a great month for pounding things out or initiating new projects. Even though your 1 year is all about new beginnings, this month is better spent centering yourself, observing, and doing research. You can (and will) take action next month. Remember to take care of yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you or go easy on you this year, unfortunately 😦

My experience: Both my previous 1 year/7 months involve new jobs, loneliness, and disappointing partners! During the most recent one, I was in a new supervisory position, and in a new branch of the credit union I worked at. I was stressed out, I didn’t know anyone, and my new boyfriend was pretty damn unsupportive (red flag?!). Nine years earlier (in my previous 1 year), I had just started a new job so I was just getting used to the people and place, and my first BF and I had just broken up. I was sooo sad and lonely! My advice is to ask for what you need and distance yourself emotionally from unhelpful people, right now 🙂

2

If you are in a personal 2 year, then June is a personal 8 month for you. This is one of your most significant months of 2016, and you could see some serious changes, or a move. A project may come to fruition, or you receive recognition for your part in a job well done. Money can increase right now, through yourself or a partner. If you are in a relationship, this is the time to go public or take it to the next commitment level. The 8 energy is about power, manifestation, and material results, so now is a time when everything comes to a head (kind of like a Full Moon phase). You may feel overly intense, stressed, or serious this month, so remember to take some time out to relax.

My experience: Both my previous 2 year/8 months involve transitions, financial increase, and meeting friends. In the most recent, I finally had a long-awaited transfer from a branch I was working at far away, to one close to home. I saved loads of money on gas costs, and the new branch was like one big family! (But I had to supervise two teams for a few weeks, so it was initially crazy.) Nine years earlier (in the previous 2 year), I moved home from college for the summer, and went back to work at my previous summer job to earn some money. A new co-worker and I met and became good friends for several years to come 🙂

3

If you are in a personal 3 year, then June is a personal 9 month for you. This is a time of endings, and things could get pretty emotional. You will say goodbye to someone or something, and people from the past may feature largely this month. It’s an opportunity to release old emotions and heal, if needed. Now is also the time to get rid of old things by cleaning the closets, donating, recycling, etc. and if you can, give to others who are in need. You must clear the decks for the new cycle to come, and that means emotional clearing, so let your feelings loose! This is a great time for creative expression, whether it be writing, art, music, or whatever floats your boat.

My experience: Both my previous 3 year/9 months involve fun, travel, and temporarily quitting jobs (weird). The most recent one was hands down the best month of my life: I traveled across country for the entire month. It was amazing, I saw old friends and family all over the country, I started a travel blog and wrote/took photographs for it, and I released a lot of emotional stuff. Nine years earlier (in my previous 3 year), I moved into a summer apartment with my best friends in college (so fun), and went traveling with family, then started summer classes and went back to work.

4

If you are in a personal 4 year, then June is a personal 1 month for you. This is a time of new beginnings, and you should feel a lot more energy and initiative than last month. This is a great time to start projects, especially if you are doing work around the house or garden. Since your whole year is about structure and setting foundations (kind of boring, right?), now is a good time to initiate a new budget or financial plan, or implement a new diet and exercise regime. Anything you can setup that will make the rest of your year (and beyond) easier and more fluid.

My experience: Both my previous 4 years/1 months involved starting things that became long-term. In the most recent, I began renovating my bedroom, and I took summer literature course. The books I read in this course influenced my writing a lot; in fact, I had a poem published that was based on one of them. Nine years earlier (in the previous 4 year), I began working in a job I’d have for the next 3 years, and I met my first serious boyfriend that month, too, although we didn’t start dating for another six months.

5

If you are in a personal 5 year, then June is a personal 2 month for you. This is a more emotional time than usual, and although energy tends to be lower during 2 months, you could definitely find love right now! However, just a warning: relationships started in your 5 year tend to be a flash in the pan. This is a highly intuitive time, and you may be surprised at the connections you make just by going with the flow. Family, friends, and balance in all your relationships are at the forefront of your priorities. Although this is your most dynamic year and you are seeking personal freedom, now more than any other month is the time to think about others, and be diplomatic. This month may feel confusing, like you are moving through fog or trying to run underwater. Patience and cooperation are key.

My experience: My last two 5 year/2 months were very different, but both emotionally turbulent. During the most recent, I was feeling depressed at the drudgery of my job, but had a romance on the horizon. This guy had been pursuing me for months but I wasn’t interested, until I got a sudden new perspective on him. My family also tragically lost a young member, and it was one of the worst things that’s ever happened to me. Nine years earlier (in my previous 5 year), I went on a small trip to Florida for the first time with my boyfriend and his mom. It was fun, but chaotic: first, my job threatened to fire me over it (they didn’t), and then, my BF’s mom kept confusing me with his previous girlfriend (WTF??). Finally, I got very sick and had to take a solo plane ride home, but my BF surprised me by showing up on the plane to accompany me! It was very romantic 🙂

6

If you are in a personal 6 year, then June is a personal 3 month for you. This is a time for some fun! Take advantage of it, because the rest of the year is taxing, as I’m sure you have already realized. Your 6 year is all about opening your heart, and about your responsibilities to others, so June can lighten things up a bit with some enjoyable activities (especially with loved ones). If you have a creative project that was pushed to the back burner, get it back out and see if you can brainstorm. Often times the creative fantasies you have during 3 months/years come to pass, at least in part! Enjoy the weather, go eat ice cream, and do some fun shopping for home decor. This is a great month for having a good time with your significant other, and letting your worries go for a bit.

My experience: Both of my previous 6 years/3 months involved new homes (and boyfriends). During the most recent one, I was in negotiations to buy a new home, and this was the month I went out and shopped for cool decor (it really was fun!), and fantasized about what I was going to do when I finally owned the place. Everything I imagined came to pass! I also rekindled an old flame that month, and it was fun for a time. Nine years prior (in my previous 6 year), my boyfriend at the time and I moved from our first apartment to a new and improved one, and it was a really awesome time. We totally loved the new apartment, and we had so much fun talking about possibilities for it (not all of them came to pass, but it was still a great time in my life).

7

If you are in a personal 7 year, then June is a personal 4 month for you. This can be a trying time, I’m not going to lie! Things break that require time, money, and attention, and you can’t take the easy way out. You have to deal with long term issues that can no longer be ignored. Work must be done, lots of sweat and toil and tears. In a 7 year a lot of the time, everything is happening internally, so the “work” can be internal; therapy, meditation, and journalling can all help, if this is the case. But you will probably have to deal with some issue of your daily life – budget, diet, or home related – that needs to be handled. This can be a frustrating and/or depressing time.

My experience: Honestly, my last two 7 years/4 months were very different, but both involved a lot of exercise. In the most recent, I was putting in a lot of work on this blog and on my YouTube channel… I produced more than any other month! But that’s fun, for me 🙂 Also, my mom and I started renovating my bathroom, which suffered destruction the previous winter from a burst pipe. I began an intense diet and exercise regime, too, after sadly realizing I’d gained like 30 lbs in less than a year! Nine years earlier (in my previous 7 year), I had recently gone through a breakup and moved back in with my parents. It was kind of depressing when we had to get together and clean our old apartment up for the end of the lease. I was exercising a lot to deal with my feelings 😦

8

If you are in a personal 8 year, then June is a personal 5 month for you. This is your power year, and the 5 month is one of the most dynamic energies there is. Ergo, this could be a month that changes everything for you! Sudden windfalls and new career opportunities can happen. Although you’re not one for gambling this year, a small gamble could see a major payoff. This is a stiff and serious year, but try to go with the flow in June, and trust you’ll be led to the right situations (over-scheduling right now can actually be detrimental to success). Great month for networking, too! Try something fresh and different in your approach and it will pay off.

My experience: I am currently in this year and month, so we’ll see what happens! So far, I am unimpressed (2 days in) 😛 In my previous 8 year, I had just finished the bulk of my Associate degree work and was starting the last three summer classes I needed to graduate. Honestly, it wasn’t that big of a deal, but my last 8 year didn’t see achievements until the second half (when I earned a degree and landed a job). The 8 year before that, I was in high school, and I was having a ball. Oh, to be young again…

9

If you are in a personal 9 year, then June is a personal 6 month for you. This is a year of endings, letting the past go, saying goodbye, and emotional ups and downs. June for you mirrors the universal 6 month that is occurring, and the themes are family duty, and responsibility. You may have past partners and loved ones reaching out to you, this month. You will have to say goodbye to certain responsibilities that are no longer yours to bear, and letting go can be hard to do! Be willing to feel what you must feel, in order to release whatever it is that ties you to this duty. This is a great time for cleaning up your home and letting go of stuff from the past that no longer serves you; it will make your environment more pleasing.

My experience: In my last 9 year/6 month, I actually had a great time, but I don’t think this is common. I am a 9 Life Path and therefore handle the 9 energy differently – they are usually the most fun and travel-filled times of my life (bear that in mind when you read my experience!)…anyway, I was dating someone new, and we just had so much fun together, we went to Mohegan Sun to see a concert, we went on day trips, etc. At the end of the month I was promoted at my job without an interview, they just said, “it’s yours,” and just like that I had a new responsibility (but one I liked and with more money!). My previous 9 year/6 month before this, I had senior prom, graduated high school, bleached my hair, went to the Jersey Shore with my friends, and basically had a fabulous time. Life was just wonderful… 😎

May 2016 Numberscopes

May 2016 Numberscopes

To calculate your personal year, add your day and month of birth to the current year, and reduce. Example: my birthday is April 13th, so I add 4 + (1+3) + (2+0+1+6) = 4 + 4 + 9 = 17.  1+7 = 8, so I am in a personal 8 year and would scroll down to the number 8 to read what’s in store for me this month!

1

If you are in a personal 1 year, then May is a personal 6 month for you. This month brings you back to responsibilities and duties, especially on the home/family front. Your relationships are in the spotlight, and the equality with which you give and take, so of all months in your 1 year this is the one to be a bit less selfish and think about others. You could even begin a long-term relationship this month, or commit on a deeper level to an existing partner. This is also a great time to begin a home renovation project, even a big one that will take the rest of the year. At the very least, a thorough spring cleaning is in order!

2

If you are in a personal 2 year, then May is a personal 7 month for you. This is a month for some private down time. Try to fit in as much of it as you can, especially in nature. Yoga, meditation, and spiritual pursuits are encouraged this month, but also any research you need to do on current or upcoming projects. The 7 is a funny energy, because it involves gathering information: both of the higher spiritual kind and of the minor day-to-day kind. Because your year is about others, this month is unique in that you must retreat from the people in your life. This is the time to consider who and what no longer serves you.

3

If you are in a personal 3 year, then May is a personal 8 month for you. This year is about creativity and personal expression, and this month, that energy is concentrated into finances and personal power. This can work in two ways: you’ll consider the financial and control aspects of a creative endeavor, or get creative about expanding your financial situation and leveraging your own power. Opportunities will present themselves, especially if you are starting an artistic career (writing, music, etc.). This is an intense time; don’t let emotions control you, and try to find the joy in the here and now. Exercise your verbal and written communication skills.

4

If you are in a personal 4 year, then May is a personal 9 month for you. You are in a systematic year concerned with order, and therefore this month of endings brings up uncomfortable issues because they are out of your control. You’ll say goodbye to someone or something (or both) this month, and it won’t be easy, because you’re not partial to anything that shakes your sense of security, this year. Try to remember that no matter what happens, you attracted it to yourself for the ultimate good, so let go! Let feelings come and go as well, because there will be turbulence. Unresolved emotions can quickly turn to physical ailments.

5

If you are in a personal 5 year, then May is a personal 1 month for you. This is a fast-moving year of unexpected change, and this month presents you with new beginnings and opportunities. Sounds good, right? It can definitely be a dynamic month that starts a myriad of projects, relationships, or ventures that will be in your life for the next 9 months, but remember that you have to show up to the party. Although this entire year it’s important for you to go with the flow/trust your intuition, May is a good month to exercise some discrimination by taking advantage of the right opportunities, not just taking anything and everything that comes your way.

6

If you are in a personal 6 year, then May is a personal 11/2 month for you. This year is an attractive one, concerned with responsibilities, commitments, and family duty; this month focuses your attention on patience, cooperation, and helping others. It may feel slow, sluggish, or even like a step backwards on the projects you’ve been working on, yet it’s an important spiritual step forward, you just won’t realize it while going through it. You’re extra sensitive this month, not just emotionally, but because you’re more in tune with others’ needs. Take time to help them: the karmic ramifications of your selflessness will be great.

7

If you are in a personal 7 year, then May is a personal 3 month for you. This year is about solitude, contemplation, and spiritual growth, which can be lonely at times; May is the one month this year you will feel lighter, more joyful and outgoing. You may not feel like throwing parties or going out every night, but there should be a slight increase in socializing, fun, and even travel. The 3 energy is about creativity, self-expression, and expansion, so it’s hard to get too depressed or heavy; bored, yes, but if you tire of life’s superficialities, do some journaling or express yourself through a creative medium.

8

If you are in a personal 8 year, then May is a personal 4 month for you. This year is about personal power, finances, and business, and this month will challenge your organization, budget, and work ethic. The purpose is to get you running on a more efficient, effortless routine for the remainder of the year. The better your habits are, the more energy you free up for bigger things, but putting those structures into place can be tedious! Take the time to get yourself together, especially when it comes to your money, bills, and health routines, so the rest of the year you don’t have to think about these things. It’ll be worth it!

9

If you are in a personal 9 year, then May is a personal 5 month for you. This year is all about endings, letting go of people/places/things, and clearing the decks for a new cycle. This month brings a dynamic energy, changes, and opportunities into your already turbulent year! But it can be great fun, and great practice in going with the flow (something that will help you all year). Although you’ll see an increase in serendipity and seemingly random luck – and people will be drawn to your newfound charisma – remember to choose your experiences wisely. It’s all to easy to waste time on frivolities or overindulging (on food, alcohol, gambling, sex, etc.).

April 2016 Numberscopes

April 2016 NumberscopesTo calculate your personal year, add your day and month of birth to the current year, then reduce. Example: my birthday is April 13th. So I add 4 + (1+3) + (2+0+1+6) = 4 + 4 + 9 = 17. 1 + 7 = 8. I am in a personal 8 year, so I would scroll down to number 8 to read what’s in store!

1

If you are in a personal 1 year, then April is a personal 5 month for you. This is the halfway point in a nine month cycle, and will likely shake you up like a snow globe. Major changes in direction can happen, with random coincidences and exciting opportunities coming your way. The best approach is flexibility; the less of a tight grip you have, the better. Just go with the flow, and pick which invites you accept based on your future goals. Although you do want to try a few new things (this is a year of newness), be careful not to shirk your responsibilities, and take caution in overspending or gambling. Don’t get carried away in arguments.

2

If you are in a personal 2 year, then April is a personal 6 month for you. This is a month for sharing love, but it also brings responsibilities to the forefront. Although this is a great opportunity for some good times and even romance, you may begin to feel spread thin if you let yourself be pulled in too many directions, helping out others. Have patience, and make sure you are diplomatic and tactful when dealing with people, because you may be called upon as a mediator this month. The challenge here is to find balance, especially give and take in all of your relationships, and to notice which ones have an imbalance.

3

If you are in a personal 3 year, then April is a personal 7 month for you. This is a time for retreat and as much solitude as you can get, because you’re being challenged to find your center. You may be tempted to be out with others, but try to keep it to small groups, and stay away from gossip this month. This is a great time for planning out the rest of your year, and writing out your objectives in all areas of life. You have a year of expansion ahead of you, so make sure you’re certain of the direction you are taking. This is also a good time for yoga, getting out in nature, meditation, and taking care of your body, in general.

4

If you are in a personal 4 year, then April is a personal 8 month for you. This month is about finances, and you can see recognition and rewards in April. You may just as easily decide to purchase a big-ticket item, however, or make some larger business related investments. The bottom line is that this month will likely see a higher volume of money both in and out of your life, and you will have to be practical and work for it. Read any contracts carefully, and don’t skip any steps; this isn’t a gambling vibe. Try to remain positive this month, even when you feel challenged, because an 8 month can get too serious and stressful.

5

If you are in a personal 5 year, then April is a personal 9 month for you. It brings a conclusion of some sort, because you are finishing up a cycle. You may not yet even realize who or what is saying goodbye, because things have a way of sneaking up on you in a 5 year! If and when you get emotional in April, just remember to go with the flow and not hold on with a tight grip. Something is ending to free you from the shackles of the past, and let you move into a new, exciting cycle without dead weight. People may pop up from your past this month, so make your peace, and use this time to clean out your closets.

6

If you are in a personal 6 year, then April is a personal 1 month for you. New beginnings are happening for you on the domestic front: family, home, and personal commitments. You are beginning a new cycle, and although you have been concerned about others’ needs this year, now is the time to assert your independence and take care of yourself. A new relationship can begin this month, or a home renovation project, something that will carry you through the rest of the year. You may also see an increase in other responsibilities, such as work/business opportunities, even if friends and family come first. Busy busy!

7

If you are in a personal 7 year, then April is a personal 11/2 month for you. This may be a confusing time, because you’ll be required to work with a group or in a partnership, despite the pull towards solitude. In addition, your ego takes a backseat in April, and your personal efforts may go unrecognized as others take the limelight. Patience and acceptance are key, right now, even if you feel like you’re in an emotional haze. Your intuition is highly attuned to your environment in April, so observe the world around you, but take care not to become negative or discouraged. Recharge your batteries often, through rest and meditation.

8

If you are in a personal 8 year, then April is a personal 3 month for you. Enjoy this month, because it’s an opportunity to lighten up and experience joy in a “serious” year. You have a chance to expand creatively and brainstorm in April, and to decide what you want to achieve this year, because you are starting to realize you can succeed. Socializing, expressing warmth, and enjoying life can take you far this month; don’t underestimate the power of a positive attitude. People hold keys to your expansion, so network, and make an effort to share joy. Showing others your confidence in yourself assures them that you’re worth it.

9

If you are in a personal 9 year, then April is a personal 4 month for you. This is a time to work, and you’ll have to address mundane details, such as paperwork and budgets that need organizing, repairs around the house or at work, and the little things that you’d probably rather put off! Bear down and do the work. You’re putting structures and systems into place so that you’ll be freed up from thinking about them later. This is the perfect time for a thorough spring cleaning; recycle, trash, or donate items which no longer serve you in practical way. Put a little work into relationships that have suffered from neglect, too.

March Numberscopes

March NumberscopesTo calculate your personal year, add your day and month of birth to the current year, then reduce. Example: my birthday is April 13th. So I add 4 + (1+3) + (2+0+1+6) = 4 + 4 + 9 = 17. 1 + 7 = 8. I am in a personal 8 year, so I would scroll down to number 8 to read what’s in store!

1

If you are in a 1 personal year, then March is a 4 personal month for you. This is when the work really begins; you may have set up some plans so far this year, but not taken action yet. March is the time to show yourself and others that you mean business, but taking that action however you can. This can be a busy time, so make sure to take care of yourself (sleep, eat right, exercise), and watch back problems; don’t neglect your health this year. You may start some projects around the house, as well. Don’t cut corners, this month; it’s best to be as structured as possible.

2

If you are in a 2 personal year, then March is a 5 personal month for you. This year is lower energy, and focused on relationships/harmony rather than personal objectives. March shakes things up a bit, and you can easily be presented with some opportunities you had not anticipated. This is a good time for last-minute travel plans, especially with a partner. Try not to be too ridged in your schedule; it’s best to go with the flow during a 5 month, and see what the universe presents at your feet. Enjoy it with others whenever possible, and share the bounty.

3

If you are in a 3 personal year, then March is a 6 personal month for you. This year is about finding your joy, but 2016 may have started a little slow. March brings a sense of responsibility, especially to loved ones, and you may be a bit exhausted by the end of it if you’re spread too thin. Try to be there for people when you can, but come up with creative ways to express yourself to find balance. This year is ultimately about you, but you may have to get some things out of the way in March, like fulfilling old agreements, even if you’ve already made exciting future plans.

4

If you are in a 4 personal year, then March is a 7 personal month for you. This is a year of structure, work, and laying foundations. You may be a bit tired after last month, if you had too much on your plate. It’s best to retreat in March and take some private time. Take care of yourself, have a spa day, get a massage, take a walk in nature. You’re more contemplative than usual, and this month is better spent in research than in action. Meditation helps, and trust that you will be more productive next month. You need this time to re-center.

5

If you are in a 5 personal year, then March is an 8 personal month for you. This is a dynamic year of change, and this month in particular may be very significant. You could easily see a public recognition, or even a work promotion and increase in salary. March is a productive month, and you can earn rewards for past efforts at this time, but also losses; you may have to pay the piper now for a past failure. Try not to let yourself get too serious; laughter is the best medicine in March, if you’re feeling overwhelmed. You’re just experiencing cause and effect.

6

If you are in a 6 personal year, then March is a 9 personal month for you. This is an attractive year, but with many responsibilities, particularly to loved ones. March may bring up a lot of things from the past, and be an emotional time as you process it all. Old friends or lovers may get in touch, and talk about old times, bringing up old feelings. Try to roll with the punches and let yourself process whatever comes up, so that you can put it behind you. March is a good month for cleaning out the closets and donating/recycling/trashing what needs to go.

7

If you are in a 7 personal year, then March is a 1 personal month for you. For the first time all year, you may feel a rise in hope and energy. This is a year of retreat and solitude, and you will be focused inward for the majority; March gives you a little life to start some new endeavors, or on a new spiritual path. You’ll be focused on bigger questions this year, and lots of ideas may start occurring to you now. While 2016 is about contemplation for you, March is a good time for action. Begin a meditation or yoga practice this month, and you’ll be grateful you did later in the year.

8

If you are in an 8 personal year, then March is a 2 personal month for you. This is a powerful year of achievement and recognition, but March puts your personal objectives on the back burner, temporarily. You may have to play the role of negotiator instead, making sure that others’ needs are fulfilled, not just yours (think co-creating and symbiotic relationships!). If a partner or loved one needs you, try to be there because you’ll be grateful for their support later this year. Have patience if March is hazy, or you feel like you’re running through quicksand.

9

If you are in a 9 personal year, then March is a 3 personal month for you. This is a year of endings, during which you’ll be wrapping up a 9-year-cycle and preparing for a new one. March lets you off the emotional hook for a bit, and provides some joy and light-hearted fun. Take time to be creative just for the sake of self-expression, with no expectations on the outcome. You may have a chance for good times with an old friend, so take it. This is a good time for reconnecting, especially with people from your youth, or children. Remember to live in the moment.

Yearly Numberscopes 2016

Yearly Numberscopes 2016To calculate your personal year, add your day and month of birth to the current year, then reduce. Example: my birthday is April 13th. So I add 4 + (1+3) + (2+0+1+6) = 4 + 4 + 9 = 17. 1 + 7 = 8. I am in a personal 8 year, so I would scroll down to number 8 to read what’s in store!

1

A year of beginnings. You are starting a new cycle, and are exploring new relationships, situations, career paths, hobbies, etc. This year will require you to step up, stand on your own two feet, and find creatives solutions; you are being challenged to discover your independence and authority. Expect little help or mollycoddling from others this year, because you are learning skills that are required for the coming cycle. Do not waste time on frivolities or people who do not resonate with you! This year sets up your direction for the coming decade.

2

A year of cooperation and patience. This is a low-energy year that focuses on relationships of all kinds, and creating harmony between people. Your ego and personal agenda take a back seat to group or partner needs. Do not expect vast strides in career or professional goals, but you will discover the power of a strong network. You may be called upon to mediate others. You are learning the skills of diplomacy, playing nice with others, and patience! Partnerships take priority this year. Feelings are explored, and emotions may be up and down.

3

A year of personal expression and discovering joy. Your creative needs are the focus this year, and other’s needs rightly take a backseat. You get back to personal goals/objectives and seek creative expansion; this is a brainstorming phase, you discover what gives you happiness. A year of conceiving/birthing creative endeavors (perhaps actual children), expanding horizons, and expressing your true self. If you discover you are not on a path that gives you joy, you may shift directions in career, relationships, and other areas.

4

A year of foundations and work. This is a slower year, during which you may feel frustrated with lack of progress. You are setting up necessary systems and structures, and laying real-world foundations under your dreams. Practical and structural matters take top priority, as well as home and family. Moving or doing home improvements is likely, and family issues come up. Personal health requires regular attention, such as a diet or exercise regime. Any life changes made are to increase stability, which is your ultimate aim this year.

5

A dynamic year of change. This is a high-energy year that promises surprise, but also opportunity. Mid-way through your cycle, the five year shakes up your world like a snow globe, and the only way to navigate is to go with the flow. You will be led by serendipity to fortuitous events and beneficial connections, provided you stay present. Unexpected travel is common, as is spontaneous romance. Unanticipated gains can occur, but be wary of overindulgence. Roll with the punches rather than dwell, if you make a major mistake/incur a loss.

6

A year of family and duty. The most attractive year of the cycle, but also requires attention to responsibilities. You are challenged to open your heart, both to give and receive love. Sometimes called the marriage/divorce year, partnerships either solidify to commitment, or dissolve if not aligned. Home is the family center, and both will require energy. Expect personal appearance and home/work environment beautification. Your relationships, responsibilities, and judgements on family/friends are key, and whether you get what you give in life.

7

A year of contemplation and retreat. You require solitude and tranquility to reflect, in order to center yourself. Goal-oriented action is put aside in favor of research and analysis. Your mind is on broader questions, what your true role is in the universe. It is vital you take time out from business and society, to be alone, connect with nature, and meditate whenever possible, because you are listening to inner guidance. Use this year to collect information, observe, and align with your higher self for wisdom and clarity.

8

A year of achievement and power. This is a serious year, in which you participate in the material world and establish your effectiveness. Work, finance, and business are top priority, and great gains can be experienced. Issues surrounding personal power rise up and you may be tested. This is a high-energy, action-oriented year, during which everything is magnified. Physical manifestations of both desires and fears more easily come to pass. Recognition is often received, and your achievements are more public. Laughter eases anxiety!

9

A year of endings. This is the final year of your cycle. You are wrapping up loose ends and clearing out your life in preparation for a new cycle. People and issues from your past revisit you, as an opportunity for true closure. Emotions may be unpredictable, and compassion for others is strong. You are practicing the art of letting go all year, emotionally and physically; make peace with past situations and get rid of that which no longer serves you. Donate, volunteer, or help those in need to satisfy your desire to give back. Release to make room for the new.

September Transits and Numberscope

September Transits and NumberscopeVenus retrograde stations direct on 9/6 (at 14º Leo), so we can all move forward in love, friendship, and finances. From this point on, you will gain clarity on any issues you’ve been reviewing in these areas.

There is a Solar Eclipse on 9/13 at 2:41am EST (at 20º Virgo). All New Moons are a fresh start, but an eclipse is like a supercharged-version. If you’ve been lacking inspiration to get working on a new project, or can’t seem to grasp hold of the practical details necessary to make a dream into a reality, this is the energy you’ve been waiting for!

There are three transits occurring on 9/17: Saturn enters Sagittarius (until 2017), Mercury stations retrograde (at 15º Libra), and Jupiter opposes Neptune.

The last week of September will be jam-packed: Sun enters Libra on 9/23, Mars enters Virgo on 9/24, Pluto stations direct (at 12º58′ Capricorn) on 9/25, and there is a Lunar Eclipse (at 4º Aries) on 9/27.

I’d like to fondly mention to Wayne Dyer, who passed this week: The world has lost a great spiritual teacher.

September Numberscope

In order to calculate your Personal Year number, simply add your birthday + month to the current year.  For example, if you were born on April 13th, you would add 4 + (1+3) + (2+0+1+5), which reduces to 4 + 4 + 8 = 16.  Reduce again, and you have 1 + 6 = 7.  This person is in a seven year.

September is an interesting month in Numerology, because its corresponding number – 9 – makes it a wash, so to speak.  (Anything added to 9 reduces back to itself.)  So September is always the “double energy month.”  This is a full-on experience of whatever personal year you are in, and is a pivotal point in the year.  For example, when I was in a personal 6 year (often called the “marriage/divorce” year), my long time boyfriend abruptly ended the relationship right on September 1st!  Ouch, that double “6” energy was a doozy, that year.  But back in my personal 3 year (personal creativity/expansion year), September marked my first semester in a new university, pursuing a degree in Creative Writing.  How appropriate is that?

1

The double 1 energy of September may be stressful, but you have an opportunity here to come into your own power and authority.  In August, you ended a 9-month cycle, and now you are beginning a new one.  Although your year of finding your individualism, strength, and inner guidance is coming to a close, you have a few months left to explore these themes.  I’d recommend laying them in concrete, as next year’s challenges in relationships and cooperation will only be harder and more painful if you haven’t found your inner power by the New Year.  This month, you may be called upon more than any other point this year to stand on your own two feet; that means challenges that require you to rely on yourself, and yourself alone.  The more you look to others, the more you will be sorely disappointed (something you’ve no doubt experienced already, this year). To be frank, my last 1 year September was quite stressful: I was in a difficult new management position at work, going to a new college full time, and in a new relationship where I received very little sympathy/emotional support for it all!  But it’s true: what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!

2

So far, this year has been mostly about laying low, and learning to put your personal needs aside for the good of the group or relationship.  September is no exception (in fact, you’ll feel it double).  August began a new cycle, and you will soon be in a new year that asks you to explore what excitement and creativity mean to you – a.k.a. you’ll be able to do “you” in the coming year – but there’s a few more months to explore teamwork, cooperation, and ultimately how you participate in co-creation with others.  September may be emotional and trying, as you experience personal let downs (already had your fill of that this year, I know…), or find yourself in situations where you must put your ego/personal needs aside for someone else, or for a group.  The key here isn’t to beat yourself down, but to learn how you can simultaneously fulfill your own needs and others’ through cooperation (not codependence).

3

Hopefully, you had a fun summer!  (I went traveling all over the country by myself, in my last three year.)  Somewhere in the middle of that summer fun, you began a new cycle, and have been contemplating/visualizing a new direction for yourself, that expands your personal creativity and self-expression.  Now is the time to really go all out with that concept.  You have plenty of time left this year to explore, brainstorm, and get messy.  This is really going to come alive in September, so get out your vision board and go crazy – don’t edit or restrict yourself, as much as your inner critic may want to.  You are getting all the ideas out now, and will be able to refine them later.  Next year will be about establishing foundations, so make some castles now, under which you can build next year.  I did a lot of writing in my three year, about things or situations I desired to do/have/be, and many of them manifested over the next few years almost to the letter!

4

This has likely been a trying year, that feels like you have been running under water.  My last four year was like moving through wet sand!  But you really are doing the work and going through the motions that are needed for the future, even if you can’t see it yet.  September is more of the same, and you may see a few setbacks this month that require you to put some systems in place (like budget, or even a long term diet/fitness regime).  The good news is these new systems or organizational techniques will benefit you for years to come, so bear down and do it!  Example: the plumbing goes in your house, and you have to pay for a new system.  Seems like another “problem” right now, but not only will you invest in a new plumbing system that will be hassle-free for years (peace of mind), the budget you must now create to pay back the debt will become a successful savings system you use for years.  Typical four scenario!

5

Things could go – either way – this month, as they basically have all year!  Well, not really, but you’re learning a bit about choices and consequences in your turbulent five year, and things will come to a head this month for better or worse.  For example, last 5 year, I agreed to a temporary work assignment without doing all my homework about it, and as the time came closer to it, I grew more and more anxious that I’d made a mistake in accepting it (I wasn’t being trained properly, I had a stressful death in the family, etc).  I didn’t speak up, though, not wanting to rock the boat.  Finally, September came around, I was in the middle of the assignment, and pardon my french – but it was an absolute shit show – and it became apparent I was not told the truth about it, nor going to receive aid.  I finally had to speak up, and the ramifications of backing out at that point were pretty big: I was essentially blacklisted until the day my employment ended.  The positive?  It showed me my mistakes in not speaking up for myself at the start, plus I realized the true nature of my management and company (I am very happy to no longer be working in that environment!).

6

I already told my tragic six-year story above, and won’t retell it here, but needless to say September is a pivotal time in your marriage/divorce year.  Don’t be surprised if you or your S.O. solidify the commitment or call it quits, depending on where the relationship is headed.  In my case, I was blindly twisting myself inside out to make something work that I was very committed to, and didn’t see that the other person was not committed and wanted out.  Ultimately it wasn’t healthy for me, as my partner wasn’t a supportive or even very kind person, but at the time I was just shocked and very hurt.  What happens this month for you is for the ultimate good, because if someone is in your life that isn’t good for you, you need to make space for healthier, happier relationships.  On another note, this is also the home-moving year (I bought a house my last 6 year), so keep that in mind.  I used wall-painting and decorating as post-break up therapy in my 6-year September!

7

The seven year is a quiet one, from an onlooker’s point of view, yet you are making great strides on the inside.  You’ve been contemplating, doing research, and looking at things from a spiritual side, all year.  This is going to get even more intense.  I am in this cycle, and it’s been an extremely introverted/restful year, which was much needed to be honest, and I expect dreams will become more intense this month and flashes of insight will happen.  It’s that strange combo of intuition and science that comes with the seven energy!  Also, people may wonder if you fell off the face of the earth.  This is the most significant time to spend in nature, alone, in retreat, and if possible pampering yourself (baths, massages, whatever gets you into that meditative/surrendering state).  Nine years ago in my 7 year September, I found Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now for the first time, and it is one of the most memorably spiritual times of my life.  Right now, I am discovering Bashar, and he is totally blowing my mind.

8

This is a “power” year, focused on success and money.  Eight is great, and you’ve likely been reaping the rewards for what you’ve been working on not just for the last seven months, but the last seven years.  Likewise, long-term consequences for things you have ignored can crop up.  These aren’t the immediate consequences of the five energy, but rather physical manifestations for your larger energy patterns.  To be honest, I had an awesome 8-year September, in my last cycle.  I received my first college degree that I’d begun seven months ago (although, they had really started seven years prior at the first university I’d attended, but never finished).  With that proudly accomplished, I applied and interviewed for a job that was better/in a nicer environment than the previous job I’d began (yup, seven) years ago.  They offered me an even better position based on my work experience!  I also spent the month stencil-painting my old bedroom in my parents’ house, which not only came out beautiful (I was quite proud!), it’s still there, after all these years.  Bottom line?  You get what you deserve, this month!

9

A year and month of endings.  This can be an emotional roller-coaster of a time.  You are in a year of saying goodbye and putting things to bed that you began eight years ago, and also in a month of doing the same thing, regarding things you began in January.  Expect tears, sudden sometimes, as your body emotionally releases all these feelings.  The more you try to hold onto people/places/things that are drifting away, the worse it is going to be.  You’re learning the lesson – the ultimate human lesson, if you ask me – that change is the only constant, and while energetically you are always connected to everyone and everything, on this physical plane nothing lasts forever.  Like the Frozen song, keep telling yourself “Let it go, let it go!”  Also from a Feng shui point of view, now is a good time to physically let go of material things, donate to charity, take stuff to the dump, and do a nice fall cleaning of your home.  The universe loves a void, and if you want to begin the process of allowing new energy into your life (you will next month, and majorly next year), you must make space.

August 2015 Numberscopes

August 2015 NumberscopesTo calculate your personal year, add your day and month of birth to the current year, then reduce. Example: my birthday is April 13th. So I add 4 + (1+3) + (2+0+1+5) = 4 + 4 + 8 = 16. 1 + 6 = 7. I am in a personal 7 year, so I would scroll down to number 7 to read what’s in store for me this month!

1

August is a month of endings. July was a high-power month, a masculine energy, one that manifested fruits of your labors. August is neutral “waning” energy that compels you to move on from the past, especially anything you’ve been dependent upon. Do not blame others for their unreliability: you attracted lack of support this year to learn independence, so accept it. Be willing to let stuff and people go, and do it without holding a grudge. You can’t be a leader if you’re leaning on everybody: it’s time to move away from those who you rely on so heavily, because in truth, you don’t need them. Likewise, you may see something from the past you thought was over and done, return to you, revived. This is a good month for cleaning out the closets and donating/tossing stuff you don’t need in your life, anymore. Allow emotions to run their course.

2

This is a month of new beginnings, especially involving relationships and cooperative efforts. Last month was a bit trying and emotional, as you had to put to bed some of which you’ve been working on for a while. It’s hard to say goodbye to people, especially when you’re trying so hard to improve and grow upon your relationships. This month you may make a few changes, even meet someone new: either as a potential partner or (more likely) a new friend. If any month that you will be in the running to start a new love connection, though, it’s this one (and it won’t be a flash in the pan). You may begin some projects in August, but they will be things that require group effort or collaboration with another person. Now is a time to realize your independence and power within co-creative situations. Don’t attempt to manipulate if you aren’t getting your way: just be your unique self, and add what you can.

3

You just came off a month of beginnings, independence, and power, and now it’s time to address relationships and cooperation. Not the most comfortable thing for you during a year of celebrating yourself: things may get emotionally turbulent. This is a time to reassess all relationships, especially your part in them, and to put aside your ego (if possible) in one-on-one collaborations. Can you? Do you feel that other people weigh you down with emotional burdens or expectations? How can you bring your sense of fun and creativity to partnerships? Co-creation was never better than in this situation, if you can focus without compromising your energy. It is possible to lift others up to your level without sinking down to theirs (because you’ll resent them and that’s not their fault, it’s yours). You need not do anything but be joyful – feel your way through this month. Use tact and opt for balance in all things, and peace.

4

It’s been a tough year, I know. Two steps forward, one step back. Last month may have been emotionally draining, as you were required to address duties within relationships and work towards group goals. This month offers a bit of release, in the form of pure fun. It’s time to get back to what brings you sheer joy in the moment, and do some of those things. If you have kids around the house, it’s a great time to play with them, go on outings, and just have a good time. Enjoy summer days and nights with friends, or see some movies. If you have been ignoring some of your personal creative projects due to other obligations, get back to them in the spirit of brainstorming and inject new life into them. This is a good time for putting work into a written or artistic project, for example. You’ll feel both inspiration, and the desire to put effort in.

5

It’s a crazy year, lots of change, lots of unexpected stuff, and you are concerned with your personal liberty. Last month may have been especially wild: new romance? Gambling? Partying? Only you know what shenanigans ensued. This month, it’s back to business. There may be a feeling of obligation tying you down, weighing on you, perhaps something you will soon regret that you agreed to take on. Did you not get all the information, or perhaps didn’t really think things through? It could simply be that unexpected events have occurred since you agreed to it, preventing you from properly preparing. You have a sense of chaos that must be put to order (especially at home). This is a great month for organization. Re-creating structure will help alleviate the stress of trying to navigate unchartered territory in your duty/work, or unexpected home issues.

6

Last month was a bit of a slow one, with delays and possibly home-related issues. Now is your time for action! This is when it all comes together. There will be unexpected things happening, but go with the flow, and everything you want will turn out. Likewise, if current situations aren’t your best interest, they may unexpectedly be cut off. You are in a year of duty to family, and this is quite an attractive year: relationships solidify to marriage, shaky partnerships dissolve to divorce, and new homes are found/beautified. August is quite a significant month within that year: you may purchase the home now, get engaged, or one or both of you may call it quits by the time the month’s through. Or more than one of those items. Breathe, let yourself be pulled with the tide, and remember that you’ve been working on self-love all year: now is when your outer environment changes to match your inner one, and it’s all for the best.

7

By now, you’re used to reflection, as a year-long theme. While last month may not have been very “crazy” in the grand scheme of things (it’s a quiet year, in general), the theme of personal freedom likely came up as something for you to think about. This month, the theme to reflect on is love. This includes how you love yourself, and how you love others/receive love. Are you happy with the way things are now? How have you exchanged love in the past? Is your current situation acceptable for the long-term? If not, it’s time to think about what behaviors to change, first and foremost towards yourself. The ultimate goal, if there is one this month, is to take responsibility for all that you have attracted – good and bad – and then forgive others. If you criticize, blame, or control others, you bring that to your own doorstep, because deep down you are holding onto guilt. It’s time to let yourself off the hook, love unconditionally, and heal.

8

This has been a powerful year, and last month you had to focus on home and family duties. August allows you to retreat, for a short amount of time, and “do you.” Now would be a good time for reflection, getting out into nature, taking baths and getting a massage to work the knots out of those muscles. The reason for all this is you’ve gotten off-center in your pursuit of goals. There may be some bit of knowledge you need before you can move ahead. Ironically, you will only get there by stepping back, listening to your gut, and observing. Take a pause – it won’t be forever – and analyze what you’re doing, and where you’re going. You need time away from other people’s energy to get down to what you truly want, so take it. This is not a month of action, but research and gaining knowledge are both useful activities this month, to get you back on track.

9

Last month you may have been quieter than usual, getting out in nature and reflecting. You feel a rise in energy in August, and there will certainly be some things coming to fruition this month – possibly even a monetary gain and/or a career recognition – and completion of certain projects. But because the theme of this year is letting go, you may find that some of what you reap isn’t all you thought it was cracked up to be. There is a sense of longing for something bigger and a realization that you’ve been living your life for others. Your gains could be bittersweet, because although you have a sense of pride in completing a project, you realize it was built on a foundation of trying to please someone other than yourself. This is all part of the process of ending a 9-year cycle, and next year you will begin a new phase of your life that is about your independence. You will gain some wisdom in August that will help shape your future desires.
